If you are addicted to drugs, then you probably understand this concept.  Drugs pick you up when you’re down.  They comfort you when you’re alone.  They make you forget about your troubles.  But they also create a wedge between you and Jesus.  Jesus should be your greatest companion because He is the only true source of peace, comfort and happiness.  You cannot reach the Father but through a relationship with him.  What if drugs are your greatest companion?
