Danial was born in Pensacola, Florida and raised in Calhoun, Georgia, a small town in Northwest Georgia, where he grew up like most small town kids in the South. He played football, attended church and had an active social life. It wasn’t until his freshman year at Kennesaw State University (KSU) in 2003, that he began searching for the true meaning of life. On October 23, 2003, Danial experienced a pivotal moment of enlightenment that that changed his life forever. He discovered the Truth about God. On that day, he dedicated his life to Jesus and has worked to spread the Truth about God to young people ever since.
Danial began serving several ministries at KSU, even helping develop a ministry called Kennesaw Christian Campus Fellowship. It sponsored series of events targeting Christians of all ministries on the KSU campus. He was also instrumental in the inception of “Worship and Wings,” which, even today, inspires young people participate in a genuine worship experience over good old-fashioned chicken wings. Danial met his wife, Lindsay, in 2008, where they were both serving the Wesley Foundation at KSU.
In the spring of 2009, Danial began his role as the Youth Pastor at the Church of the Messiah in Canton, Georgia. He was also studying Religion at Liberty University; he earned a B.S. in Religion in the fall of 2010. During his tenure at Church of the Messiah, he co-founded the “180Change Discipleship Program” and served as chaplain of Creekview High School football in Canton, Georgia, and Woodstock High School Baseball in Woodstock, Georgia. He also became involved with the Cherokee County chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
In July 2013, Danial left the Church of the Messiah with the desire to expand the reach of his message beyond Metro Atlanta. Late in 2012, he and co-founder, Stuart Cook, sought to leverage media and technology to convey God’s Truth to a larger, online audience, which is how “WHATiF…Critical Truths for Critical Times” began.
Using social media outlets, WHATiF offers the next generation of youth answers to some of the most complex and misrepresented questions of their time. WHATiF challenges young people to seek the Truth despite what popular culture, media and society tells them.
Though discovering what God has planned for each of us will require a radical change in thought, the payoff is greater than any high obtained through the pitfalls of this world: money, power, sex and drugs. God’s Truth will set you free from all the pain, suffering, destruction and failure in this world.
So, if there’s a voice inside of you that is urging you to ask more questions and consider more possibilities than the world is willing to offer, you’ve come to the right place.
