Do we really only live once?  People often use that adage as an excuse for reckless behavior.  For instance, should you try pot?  You might as well; you only live once.  If you believe in God, you have a physical life that ends with death and an eternal life that begins with death.  So you have the potential to live twice!  Living for yourself in the physical world means that you will not experience anything greater than yourself.  You really will only live once, and you’ll be dying eternally in the process.  What if you only live once?
