You know that moment before you decide to do something really dangerous? It consists mostly of arrogance and thoughtlessness, and it is underscored by a desire for attention. You take a deep breath, try not to think about the consequences and go for it.  You might even laugh about how dangerous it was afterward when you tell the story to your friends.  Consider what would happen if you didn’t make it to the afterward to laugh about it. What would it do to your friends and family if you caused some irreparable damage to yourself or someone else?  What if you’re not indestructible?
