Rebirth is a common metaphor we use when we talk about accepting Jesus. And as spiritual infants we are not initially mature enough to digest the “solid food” of truth, so we start out eating a version of the truth that is easy to digest, much like a baby drinks milk. Our spiritual “milk” is a diluted version of the truth. So what does it mean to progress past the bottle stage and become spiritually mature? What if there’s more than your bottle of milk?
